The wider Atlanta market

The Federal Housing Finance Agency’s all-transactions index for the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell metro division, which includes Cherokee County, was 374.52 in the second quarter of 2026, up 1.0% from 370.67 a year earlier. The FHFA index follows repeat sales and refinance appraisals of the same houses over time, so it moves differently from Zillow’s estimate. The two together suggest metro prices are roughly flat, with Woodstock a little softer than the region.
